A visit was made to Al-Faris General Company / Ministry of Industry and Minerals by a team of academic staff from the Department of Chemical Engineering composed of Prof. Dr. Thamer Jassim Mohammed and Asst. Prof. Dr. Salah Salman Ibrahim on Thursday, 14/9/2017. A meeting was held with representatives of the company under the chairmanship of the assistant director of the company Eng. Ghalib Azzawi Hammadi and in the presence of representatives of the Industrial R & D Authority. During the meeting, the technical problems and obstacles of some of the companys' projects were reviewed and the companys' units were also checked. It was agreed to submit a report related with the problems and documented them in an official letter to the University of Technology in order to find the solutions by the working group with the expansion of the paragraphs of the memorandum of understanding to be signed between Al-Faris General company and the Department of Chemical Engineering to include the other departments in the university such as the production engineering and metallurgy department and materials engineering department and others
