Buthainah Ali Abed AL-Timimi holds a Ph.D. in Chemical and Process Engineering from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. In her bachelor's and master's studies, she majored in chemical engineering. Her research interests span various interdisciplinary experimental areas including renewable energy, heterogeneous catalysts, catalytic process, sustainable energy reaction, nanomaterials, nanocomposites, and carbon nanofilaments. She has about seventeen years of experience in the chemical and process engineering field as an engineer and researcher. She is a member of the IAENG, AIChE, IChemE, IEOM Society, MBOT, and Iraqi Engineers Union. She has published many journal papers, conference proceeding, and book chapters. Additionally, four journal papers have been submitted and are currently under review. Currently, Dr. Buthainah is working as a faculty member in the Chemical Engineering Department at the University of Technology, Baghdad, Iraq.
